I think during the first session with Cody & Satori it was genuine, like a lot of people I think initially it was somewhat believable (being there would be a different experience than watching through the screen). If Satori and Cody get exposed, S&C can just say "we didn't know, we were fooled just like you". I think as long as Satori and Cody don't actually inform them about it being a fraude, they can keep playing it safe. Personally I think S&C are suspicious of Satori and Cody and know deep down it is fake, but they are not pushing the debunking too much, because it makes great content. Something you can't find on the internet. But besides the soft shoes they dont do any attempts of proving that Cody is just cracking joints.Īlso, I find it hard to believe that just asking your loved ones something Satori and Cody would not be able to know have not crossed their minds. Colby actually says something like "and they can't crack there toes or something", which tells me he knows about the fox sisters scam. And they keep saying how world changing this is. But in the 3rd video they present it to Bella and Larry and challenge them to debunk it like it's a 100% truth. S&C let it go, but it kind of looks like they are suspicious of it. Apologies, I mean "the ghosts" refuse this. They do try to debunk it with getting Satori and Cody bare foot and by making the ghost read cards. But somehow they manage to not try a single method that would actually debunk it. S&C keep trying to "debunk" Satori and Cody. Because a ghost misspelling their own name seems like a huge blunder to me. Sam reads the name out lous in the car and doesn't mention anything about the mistake? Isn't he suspicious? But on the other side, if they were in on it, I can imagine they would have gone back and rerecorded that. Terri's last name gets misspelled by Satori and Cody. Wouldn't they say something if they were trying to debunk it so bad? But they also didn't call Satori out on this. And they kept refering to Terri as he even after Satori refered to Terri as a she. S&C refered to Terri as a "he", before they found out Terri was female. Secondly, How would Cody and Satori know what to google beforehand if the locations from the uncut video were chosen by S&C's team without them being in on it? It could be a lucky guess, since all locations were around 15-20 mins from the conjuring house and they just studied them all. The most obvious argument is why would they risk it? Are they so certain they can throw Cody and Satori under the bus when they get exposed? I imagine they can get a lot of backlash and potentially lose a big part of their following if they end up being in on it. Especially the scenerio around the contact with teacher Terri and the other outside locations. I have found some arguments for them being in on it, but also some arguments against that. It's super easy to fall into, but it doesn't do much good for having open conversations about things.Cody and Satori are clearly frauds and Cody is just cracking some joints to make the sounds, right? But I have been breaking my back over whether S&C are in on it for the past few days. It would be cool if people didn't have such Adamant hates for people and things online. I think a part of that may be the way they portray themselves because it is a video and they are trying to make content that fits within their pseudo-clickbait/reactions niche. I just recently watched three of four parts at the conjuring house and I can see why people don't like their content and it can seem super gimmicky and setup. Sam and Colby have a video where they go through a bunch of different tests to debunk Cody and Satoris' method, and I'm not sure how that lines up with the other stuff people are mentioning here but I'm curious as to what has made people hate both groups SO adamantly lmao. As someone else said, it does seem a bit tacky, and I would LIKE to believe in their method because I'm already a believer in the spiritual/paranormal. Wierd things happen around me and it's always been like that wherever I go lol. I don't claim to be a medium or anything special, cause I'm just a dude, but I would consider myself the closest thing to a conduit in a sense. I'm not gonna come here to defend their method, but I do see the validity in it, and the "spiritual connection" thing makes a whole lot of sense if you believe that some people can be considered "conduits" for spiritual experiences. Kinda old post, so sorry for the notification.
